Beginner Rock climbing course = Brattkort kurs
Course Overview
Who is it for? If you have already tried and want to develop your limbing skills. this course will give you Top rope certificate that you allows you to use climbing centres in Norway and belay on top rope with your friends. It is stictly advisable to have Brattkort in Norway for climbing indoors.
5 hours over 1 day. What is included in the price: entrance to venue, climbing equipment.
Participants of all ages and basic fitness can subscribe. It is advisable to be free from injuries that can be aggravated by exercises. The course is 1 day duration between 9.00 to 15.00 at Gneis klatresenter agreement. Minimum 4 and participants for course confirmation. Maximum 8 participants.
Climbing gear: shoes rental and harness with belay device is included.
Bring your lunch and water bottle. You can get warm drinks in the caffe at your breaks time.
Take comfortable stretchy or loose trouses and t-short. It is warm in the centres. You may bring flip flops too as floor can be cold to walk barefoot. You need your own lock to use a locker.
Language of choice: apart from Norwegian you can book a course in Bulgarian, Russian or English.

Autobelay & Top Rope: Practice climbing with autobelay devices and top rope systems, building confidence at your own pace.
Getting Down: Learn safe methods for descending, including lowering and downclimbing.
Core Strength Exercises: Simple, effective exercises to build the strength and endurance needed for climbing.
Warming Up: Essential warm-up routines, including traverse climbing, to prepare your body and prevent injuries.
Injury Prevention: Tips and techniques to protect yourself from common climbing injuries. warm up exercises and mobility.
After completion of test during the course you will get “Brattkort toptau” certification. You will need to apply for registration at https://www.brattkompetanse.no/ and use a name of your instructor. That certificate gives you right to belay in all Rock climbing centres in Norwa
